Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a monetary donation of$500 from the Kona Crime
Prevention Committee, P. O. Box 2043, Kailua Kona, Hawaii 96745. These funds are being
given to the Hawaii Police Department to help cover the costs to bring a canine trainer to
Hilo to work with a dog and handler.
Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
funds into the Hawaii Police Department's miscellaneous "Training" account.

costs of the trainer and donated canine under account number 010-201-5215.05.341.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Kona Crime Prevention Committee is donating funds to cover the training and transportion costs to bring the
trainer and canine to Hilo. The trainer will conduct training with the dog handler and canine.
