Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 128-11, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 128-11, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Ivan M. Torigoe via
Communication No. 325, dated August 23, 2011, authorizes the acquisition of easements in
private property by eminent domain, TMK: (3) 4-5-002-061, situated at Namoku and Haina,
District of Hamakua, for road and utility purposes for the Honoka`a Wastewater Treatment Plant.
These easements are necessary to provide wastewater treatment services to the Honoka`a and
Haina community.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 128-11,
and recommends its adoption.
