Dear Chairman Yagong and Council Members
Aloha. My name is Walter D. Andrade, owner and operator of Ka'u- Andrade Contracting, Inc.
for the past 30 + years. I am also a long time rancher, raising close to 2,500 + heads of cattle
here in the district of Ka'u.
I have had the pleasure of associating myself with Christopher A. Manfredi through his
management of Ka'u Farm & Ranch LCC, whom I have leased pasture land from for several
years for my ranching business. I support his nomination to the Hawai'i County Windward
Planning Commission. I believe he has the ability to represent our community with his
knowledge and leadership skills that he has acquired through various positions he has held in
the many different organizations that he is a member of. He will be a valuable asset to be
contributing on the Windward Planning Commission. I have found Mr. Manfredi to be an open
minded person who will listen and consider what is best for the entire community.
