Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 93, reports as follows:
Bill No. 93, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 143-11, by Finance Director Nancy
Crawford via Communication No. 348, dated September 7, 2011, amends Ordinance No. 11-59,
as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2012. The amendment is as follows:

010.201.5215.05 Misc Police—Training Account General $750
This bill appropriates a monetary donation of$750 from the Children's Justice Grant Task Force
of East Hawai`i to the Hawaii Police Department to help cover the costs to bring canine trainer
to Hilo to work with a dog and handler
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of money.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 93, and
recommends it pass first reading.
