Re: Operating Budget
The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation Public Affairs - Safe Community Program
is providing an additional funding of $19,050 to the Hawaii County Police Department's
Speed Enforcement program. The funds will be used to purchase one (1) on -site 350 Radar
Trailer, one (1) Dell computer, and two (2) Stalker Brand Radar Speed units. This will
increase the total appropriation for this fiscal year from $79,000 to $98,050.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the additional
funds into the Speed Enforcement program account.
