Please accept our corrections today regarding our email tesimony to you
of Friday 9/2/2011
Please do read and understand our very serious concerns regarding your
vote today. We do not accept nor do we approve of this Bill 304 as it is
written up to today. Please refer to our previous correspondence
testimony to you, as per planning committee meeting of May 3,
2011, regarding our changes to bill 304.
Briefly we say again to you that your proposed changes are too
reminescent of the fuedal system where the poorer people are
disenfranchised while the richer people are given more perks.
$4,000.00 plus added to an efficiency dwelling, 499 sq ft and below. is
way our of line here especially when the developers are given a money
help of lessening thier fees by almost 50% compare to what they are
charged today for user fees.
$4,000.00 is also way out of line for 999sq ft to 500 sq ft dwellings.
Thank you very much for your assistances to us here today. Please do
redo the fee scale to insure that owner builders especially these that are
building very small houses have a real chance to BUILD THESE SMALL
HOUSES IN HAWAII COUNTY.,
