Dear Committee Chair Pilago :

Hawaii's fish are being taken by the millions for the aquarium trade and unbelievably
large numbers of these fish die before they even reach their destination.
The fish are critical in the process of keeping Hawaii's coral reefs alive by eating the
algae off of them. Without the fish the reefs will die. This will also directly affect
Hawaii's tourism industry, as people who visit Hawaii for the specific reason of diving
and snorkeling, will choose to go elsewhere.
Thank you so very much for your support.
Sincerely,
Madelyn R. Barrea
