Barrea City, State : Deep River, CT Dear Committee Chair Pilago : I would like to go on record as being in favor of Res. 130 -11 and I ask for your support of this most important matter. an SEP 16 t Hawaii's fish are being taken by the millions for the aquarium trade and unbelievably large numbers of these fish die before they even reach their destination. The fish are critical in the process of keeping Hawaii's coral reefs alive by eating the algae off of them. Without the fish the reefs will die. This will also directly affect Hawaii's tourism industry, as people who visit Hawaii for the specific reason of diving and snorkeling, will choose to go elsewhere. Thank you so very much for your support. Sincerely, Madelyn R. Barrea Executive Director West Hawaii Humane Society P.O. Box 2695 Kailua -Kona, Hi 96745 1 Comm, No.3 3312- Ref.
