Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 315-00, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 315-OQ transmitted by Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication
No. 897, dated August 14, 2000, increases the time elements of Position No. 2854 Lifeguard I
(Pool) 2/5 time to full time and Position No. 2065 Lifeguard I (Pool) 1/2 time to 3/5 time.
By increasing the time elements for the aforementioned positions new programs and longer
hours can be made available to the public.
Also said Resolution authorizes that $14,027.64 be transferred from Aquatics Pools OCE
010-500-5513.62 to Aquatics Pools Salaries and Wages 010-500-5513.61.
For informational purposes, Mr. Tyler and Ms. Leithead-Todd voted kanalua twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 315-00
and recommends its adoption.
