We urge you to fully support the reso to ban the aquarium (fish collecting) business.
It's time to stop the taking of reef fish even if it means putting a few (less than 100)
businesses out of business. It's truly an unnecessary business, when most of the fish
that are taken die quickly; often before leaving our island. As long time residents and
frequent snorkelers in Kona, we know the importance of many reef fish to make the tourists
happy. It also makes us locals happy.

Please tell the State Legislators that Hawaii Island fully supports this ban.
