Dear Committee Chair Pilago : Aloha, Chairman Pilago and committee members:
This bill isn't about jobs. All too few people prosper while the environment suffers from
fish collecting. The benefits of aquarium fish collecting are relatively non - existent, and
the end to this practice is long- overdue. If the market requires aquarium fish, they
should be raised in aquariums L not taken from natural environments, especially Hawai'i's
fragile and ever - threatened reefs.
This bill makes so much sense in a day and age when humans should be managing their
natural resources so much better. Please support this ban by voting iyesC: on Res. 130 -11.
