Dear Committee Chair Pilago : Please consider passing this resolution which will help stop
the poaching of Hawaii's reefs and the state's natural resources. The tourism industry
depends on healthy reefs and as the fish disappear so will the tourists who want to
snorkel and dive with them. Coral reefs are extremely fragile. As a former resident of the
state I feel deeply about this issue and thank you for considering it. Please help.
