Firstly, it is not yours to abuse /destroy. As the top of the evolutionary tree, the responsibility lies with us humans to protect and preserve for future generations: of humans, coral and fish. Secondly, many of these fish die in transit, are uncared for once in their new 'homes' and live considerably constrained lives. All in the interests of a moving wall hanging. Perhaps encouraging your local artists to develop their skills and promoting their artwork to tourists and the rest of the world is a better solution. No aquatic destruction there. Lastly. It is possible that only a small group of individuals will profit from this game. When the sea around your land is empty of coral /fishes etc, who will come to your wonderland to look? You may well be shooting your tourist trade and those less politically or globally minded, in the feet. But perhaps you don't care about the community, just your own pockets? I ask you to think long and hard about the decisions you make and why exactly do you make them. Do you really need all that extra money/ stuff? Trusting that you will make a good decision, from your heart.
