Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 320-00, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 320-OQ, transmitted by Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication
No. 91 1, dated August 21, 2000, authorizes the Cotmty of Hawaii to enter into an agreement
with the Department of Defense, State of Hawaii, for a Memorandtun of Understanding for the
purpose of maintaining and upkeeping veterans cemetery facilities.
The State of Hawaii, Department of Defense, has granted $22,500 to the County of Hawaii,
Department of Parks and Recreation for the period of July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2001.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 320-00
and recommends its adoption.
