Relations, Workforce Development Division Hawai`i County Office of Aging $84,600.00 $9,999.00 #3308.58 Grant Period (Commencement & Completion): May 21, 2010 - July 31, 2011 Goals: Hawai`i's communities have the necessary economic, workforce, and physical capacity for an aging society. Objectives: These Special Funds enabled STEP to continue serving the nine (9) seniors added to STEP in 2009 under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (Public Law 111 -05). Without these Special Funds, the nine (9) seniors who were participating in STEP under ARRA would have been terminated in May 2010. Outcomes or Results: When these special funds were exhausted, all 9 participants were absorbed into the regular STEP to continute in the program. /vrb Hawai 'i County is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
