Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 324, reports as follows:
Bill No. 324, transmitted by Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication No. 932,
dated September 12, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 00-64, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2001, by adding the following project:
POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Microwave Radio Repeater Sites Upgrade 110-299-5299.33-115 $100,000
Funds for this project(s) shall be provided from federal grants receivable.
Funds will be used to upgrade multiplex equipment for 8 microwave repeater sites located at the
Public Safety Building, Central Fire Station, Kulani Cone, Na`alehu, South Point, Ohia Mill,
Captain Cook and Huehue.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 324 and
recommends it pass first reading.
