Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 326, reports as follows:
Bill No. 326, transmitted by Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication No. 934,
dated September 12, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 00-64, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2001, by appropriating the 1998-2000 fuel tax collections in excess of appropriations
established by Ordinance No. 99-46. This ordinance also adds the Puainako Street Extension
and the Alii Highway projects to the list ofTEA-21 Projects (Federal Aid) as specified in
Ordinance No. 99-46.
PROGRAM AMOUNT
TEA-21 Projects (Federal Aid) $ 91,642.58
Local Road Improvements $ 91,642.58
TOTAL: $183,285.16
Funds for these projects shall be provided from the following accounts of the Capital Project
Fund:
Transfer from Highway Fund $127,178.87
Fund Balance -Fuel Tax Increase 98-00 $ 56,106.29
TOTAL: $183,285.16
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purposes and intent of Bill No. 326 and
recommends it pass first reading.
