The idea of adding a maintenance fund to the 2% fund to the County Charter is a "must" if our county ever
hopes to meaningfully protect what's left of sensitive lands (which I hope "we" are wise enough to do).
I fully support the 2% fund as well as the small percentage funding for maintenance of those acquired lands. I
believe these questions should appear on the ballot as proposed by Councilwoman Brenda Ford so that both
funds will remain fully intact as County Charter amendments.
