Appointment of Mr. Christopher Manfredi to the Hawai`i County Windward
Planning Commission from Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated Aug. 18, 2011,
requesting confirmation of the appointment of Christopher A. Manfredi to the
County of Hawai`i Windward Planning Commission.

Please accept my testimony in support of the confirmation of nominee Chris Manfredi to the
Windward Planning Commission.
In my capacity as a board member of the State Agribusiness Development Corporation, I have
known and worked with Chris on Hawai`i County's agricultural issues. In my opinion and
experience Chris is an intelligent, articulate person with deep integrity, high philosophic goals
and a history of committed action especially concerning the development of a truly sustainable
planning model for the County of Hawai`i.
I highly recommend the confirmation of Chris Manfredi to serve on the Windward Planning
Commission. Chris and his perspectives will be an asset to the Commission and to the County of
Hawai`i.
