Subject: CRIMINAL penalties for non - permitted buildings- OPPOSE Bill 270
Council Members,
While the intent of Bill 270 maybe good the content is not. Criminalizing building code violations will
add an unnecessary burden to the court system and only serve to force people out of their homes and
deter homestead farming.
This is not the role of government, please vote no on Bill 270.
