1. The inclusion of an amendment stating adoption of this regulation doe;not . „ymit or
prevent the adoption of alternative codes and building regulations by Haw",`ii Cotty, nor
does it require a future amendment to this bill."
2. Removal of the section 5 -48 -5 on Page 17 that changes infractions from a civil to a
criminal offense.
I am very strongly opposed to any criminal penalties for infractions on building codes.
How much room do we have in the prisons ? ??
