Re: County of Hawaii v. C &J Coupe Family Limited Partnership,
Civ. Nos. 00-1-0181K and 05- 1 -015K (Consolidated Cases),
Supreme Court of the United States No. 11 -75,
and the Mamalahoa Highway Bypass
Pursuant to Section 92- 5(a)(4), Hawai'i Revised Statutes, as amended, we
request attorney - client confidential discussion in executive session to consult with the
County Council on questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties, privileges,
immunities and liabilities regarding the status of the appeal and matters relating to the
construction of the Mamalahoa Highway Bypass in the above - entitled matters. We ask
that this case be placed on the council's agenda at its earliest convenience.
