Attached is a bill for an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 11 -60, as amended, Relating
to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2011 to June
30, 2012, which appropriates $500,000 for the design of a Waimea Transit Hub.

Enclosed for your review and recommendation is a bill amending Ordinance No. 11 -60,
as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year
July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012, by appropriating $500,000 to fund the Waimea Transit
Hub. Funds are needed for the design of a Waimea Transit Hub.
As per article X, section 10 -6 of the Hawai`i County Charter, your recommendations to
the proposed amendment will be greatly appreciated.
