Re: Comm. No. 396/Bill No. 114
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 114,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 114, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren W. H. Lee via Communication
No. 396, , dated September 27, 2011, amends Article 10, Division 3, Section 24 -275,
Schedule 23, Bus Stops and Public Road Taxi Stands, (c) South Hilo be amended by revising
existing item as follows:
(5) Kamehameha Avenue, west side, beginning from a point sixty feet south of
Kalakaua Street and extending fifty feet in the southerly direction, from 2:00 p.m. 12:30 P.M. to
3:00 p.m. 2:30 P.M. on school days.
The subject bus stop primarily serves the Connections Public Charter School. This
amendment is being proposed to accommodate the revised release time at the school
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill 114, and recommends its passage on first reading.
