No.182 -11 <br />PLACE: Council Chambers <br />Hilo, Hawai`i <br />TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawai`i County Council <br />Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br />Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution <br />No. 182 -11, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 182 -11, from Assistant Corporation Counsel Katherine Garson, transmitted via <br />Communication No. 428, dated October 6, 2011 accepting the dedication of a portion of road lots <br />R -1, R -2, R -3 and R -4, being a portion of Tax Map Key: (3) 6 -8- 039:056, situated at <br />Waikoloa, District of South Kohala, Island and County of Hawai`i, State of Hawai`i, (Sunset <br />Ridge at Waikoloa, Phase 3, Unit 5) from Sunset Ridge Joint Venture. <br />These roadway lots, for public road and drainage purposes, received dedication approval from <br />applicable County agencies. <br />Former Councilmember Curtis Tyler testified and cautioned Committee members that the <br />language in the letters from each Department giving "approvals" for dedications should be <br />consistent and clearly state the projects are in "full compliance" rather than simply "meet <br />standards of'.
