STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 140 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11-40, SECTION 2, AUTHORIZATION OF BONDS, OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, PERTAINING TO THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING ALL OR A PORTION OF THE COSTS OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AUTHORIZED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 11-40, section 2, is amended to read as follows: "SECTION 2: Authorization of Bonds. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
