Comm. 454: AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 26 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
(Bill 139) CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), TO BE REPLACED BY A NEW
CHAPTER 261 RELATING TO FIRE
From Fire.Chief Darren J. Rosario, dated October 31, 2011. Upon the adoption of
the State Fire Code, each County had two years to make amendments. The new
Chapter 26 is easier to understand, is user friendly and is more consistent with other
County codes, rules and regulations.

at the Holomua Center, 64-1067 Māmalahoa Highway, Suite 5, and the Pahoa Council Office, Pahoa
