Re: Capital Budget
For FY 2010-11, $3,258,000 was budgeted for Fuel Tax Increase revenues. The actual
revenue realized for Fuel Tax Increase was $3,283,251.48, exceeding the budgeted
amount of by $24,251.48. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to appropriate these excess
revenues to the Capital Projects Fund in order for the Department of Public Works to
expend it.

A. REQUEST:
To amend Ordinance No. 11-59, the Operating Budget by appropriating excess Fuel Tax
Increase revenues collected in FY 10-11 which needs to be transferred to the Capital Project
Fund:
Revenue: 020.3609.08 Fund Balance from Prior Year- Reserved $24,251.48
Appropriation: 020.801.5801.34.341 Trans to Cap Proj Fund $24,251.48
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
These excess revenues collected must be appropriated to transfer it to the Capital Projects Fund in order
for the Department of Public Works to be able to expend it.
