Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement, for one (1) multi-function copier for the
Department of Parks and Recreation. The machine they currently use is over five years
old and near the end of its useful life. They wish to replace it with a unit with
comparable features, to be used in their administrative office located in the Aupuni
Center.

A. REQUEST:
Approval to enter into a five-year multi-year lease agreement for one (1) multi-function copy machines for the
Parks & Recreation Administration Office, at the Aupuni Center.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
This copier services the Administrative, Planning, Human Resources, Payroll, and Accounting functions of
the Department of Parks and Recreation. The current copier is over 5 years old, is nearing the end of it's
useful life, and parts and repair will cost more than fiscally responsible.
We seek replacement with comparable features and lease. Per copy prices not to exceed $500 per month,
black and white copies shall not exceed 3 cents and color copy shall not exceed 8 cents.
