Rosario Fire Chief Renwick J. Victorino Deputy Fire Chief Please see proposed amendments to Bill No. 139, illustrated below in Ramseyer format. Rationale for proposed amendments, where provided, is bolded and italicized at the end of each section. Attached please find Bill No. 139 with these amendments incorporated therein. 1. Section 26 -1, as provided in Bill No. 139, is amended to read: "Section 26 -1. Adoption of the Hawaii State Fire Code. [The State of Hawai`i on January 1, 2010 pursuant to section §132 3 of the Hawai`i Revised Statutes, incorporated the 2006 National Fire Code, NFPA 1 Uniform ] The Hawai`i State fire code, as adopted by the Hawai`i State fire council on January 1, 2010, pursuant to section 132 -3, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, which incorporated the 2006 National Fire Code, NFPA 1 Uniform Fire Code, is by reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof and is hereby adopted by reference, subject to the amendments in this chapter." 2.
