COMMERCIAL — 10,000 SQUARE FEET (CV -10) AT KAWALA, KA`U, HAWAII,
COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY: 9 -5- 025:033 (Applicant: Dr. Kevin Stuef) (Area:
20,637 square feet)
From Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated October 20, 2011, transmitting the above bill and
enclosures with a favorable recommendation from Windward Planning Commission
Chair Zendo Kern. The applicant requests a Change of Zone from RS -15 to CV -10 to
allow the establishment of a dental office in an existing dwelling.

ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE
1983 (2005 EDITION), BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM
AGRICULTURAL — THREE ACRES (A -3a) TO FAMILY AGRICULTURAL — ONE
ACRE (FA -la) AT PONAHAWAI, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX
MAP KEY: 2 -5- 040:019 (Applicant: Marc and Desiree Butz) (Area: 4.747 acres)
From Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated October 20, 2011, transmitting the above bill and
enclosures with a favorable recommendation from Windward Planning Commission
Chair Zendo Kern. The applicants are requesting to change the zoning from
Agricultural -3 acres to Family Agricultural -1 acre in order to subdivide the property
into two parcels consisting of a 1 -acre lot and a 3.747 -acre lot.
