Subject: A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SISTER-CITY
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LA REUNION AND THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII TO ENTER INTO A
FORMAL SIGNED AGREEMENT.
Enclosed is a resolution regarding the establishment of a sister-city relationship between the County of
Hawai`i and the island of La Reunion. I am submitting it by request.
I request this resolution be placed on the appropriate committee agenda for December 20, 2011.
