It is my pleasure to nominate Gloria K. Wong of Council District 4, to the County of
Hawai'i Salary Commission. Ms. Wong is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. She is a
self-employed business consultant and a freelance writer.
Ms. Wong is a former member of the Hawai'i County Cost of Government Commission
and the Hawaii County Board of Appeals. She states that she is a Democrat. If
confirmed, she will serve a term to end on December 31, 2016.
