The Police Department indicates that this equipment will be used to purchase equipment and supplies to prepare the department for disaster situations. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the funds into the Hawaii Police Department Kona Police Division's "Other Current Expenses" (OCE) account.
