It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Wayne Joseph to the County of Hawaii Board of Appeals.
Mr. Joseph is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He presently is employed as a sports writer at
Stephens Media Group and is executive director of the Big Island Marathon.
Mr. Joseph has been a past member of the County of Hawai`i's Cost of Government
Commission and Board of Ethics. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party.
Mr. Joseph was appointed to this commission in May, 2011, to a term that ended on
December 31, 2011. Since that term was less than two years, he is eligible to succeed himself
for an additional full term of five years, which will end on December 31, 2016.
