It is my pleasure to nominate Ms. Nancy Carr -Smith to the County of Hawaii Board of Appeals.
Ms. Smith is a 10 -year resident of Hawaii. She is self - employed and the Principal Broker for
Aloha Kohala Realty.
Ms. Carr -Smith will complete her term as a member of the South Kohala CDP Action Committee
in February 2012. She is a board member of the Waimea Community Association and Ka Ulu 0
Kona. She is also a mediator at the West Hawai'i Mediation Center and volunteers with the
Waimea Parade /Lokahi Giving Project. Ms. Carr -Smith states that she is a member of the
Democratic Party. If confirmed, she will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2016.
