Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />(FEMA) is providing federal funds of $148,758 for the purpose of supporting the Hawaii <br />Fire Department's Assistance to Firefighters Grant program. These federally derived <br />funds will be used to purchase seven new Zoll Medical Corporation, 12 -lead <br />Electrocardiography (EKG) machines. <br />Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with FEMA, for <br />this grant.
