Enclosed is a resolution accepting a monetary donation of $250 from W. H. Shipman,
16 -523 Kea`au -Pahoa Road, Kea'au, HI 96749. This money will be used by the
Department of Parks and Recreation to support their Vulcan Baseball Clinic with the
purchase of food and beverages for participants. This event will be hosted by the
Vulcan coaches, players and public relations staff for the youth in the Puna district and
other youth participants.

DACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The event will be hosted by the Vulcan coaches /players and P &R staff for the youths of the Puna District and
other youth participants. The monies will be used to purchase pizzas & snack wings, hot dogs, sodas, juice
and paper goods.
