C ► :553-1j- Hi. I've lived in Kipahulu for 15 years in various "illegal" structures. They were all sanitary and great to live in as I felt closer to nature. I have the means to live in "code" structures but they generally aren't as livable because I feel further from communing with nature. Please allow people to live as they like as long as they are not harming anyone else. Please get creative and expansive with codes. My friend in Kipahulu almost single- handedly got a bill passed for using bamboo as a building material. and can you believe they tried to make him put a toilet INSIDE his house!! It makes so much sense to have it separate! and they tried to make him put an oven in his kitchen when he's a raw foodist! ! ! Stephan Reeve is his name. A hero. thanks for listening.
