Dear County Council,
Please vote to prevent more people from bringing deer to the Big Island. Yes, they taste good, but the
damage to our agricultural industry will be enormous. Deer will also invade our native forests, and the
hundreds of miles of fencing that have been erected to keep out pigs and protect our watersheds will be
useless. Don't let a few selfish people take advantage of everyone else, and don't let a new pest become
established to plague our ag industry. Mahalo for your consideration.
