SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-286 — NEW NO STOPPING, STANDING, OR PARKING ZONE
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10 (Schedules), Division 5 (Parking),
Section 24-286, Schedule 34 (No stopping, standing or parking areas), subsection (f) (Kona), be
amended by adding new item and renumbering as required-
j_) KAAHUMANU PLACE, NORTH SIDE, EXCEPT FOR SIGNED AND
MARKED ADA ACCESSIBLE PARKING STALLS AND LOADING ZONE..
This amendment was generated due to a request by the Hawaii Police Department to
discourage motorists from stopping, standing, or parking in the subject area and
blocking through traffic.
A location map is attached for your reference.
