Request for executive session regarding claims filed on behalf of Glen Shikuma,
Patricia Nakamoto, and Shyla Ayau: Request to hire special counsel.
Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, I am requesting an
executive session be convened during the Council's regularly scheduled meeting on February 15,
2012, for the purpose of discussing the above referenced matter with the board's attorney(s) as it
pertains to the board's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities.
