PINS Dear Council Members, The current bill 270 is excessively strict (even criminalizing any violation of the building code — could be chipped paint) and with many non - applicable, expensive regulations IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS WRITTEN PLEASE VOTE NO ON 270 IN ITS CURRENT FORM. Communication 128.74 make reasonable amendments to the 270 that makes it more applicable and reasonable for Hawaii county building. PLEASE VOTE YES ON ALL THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS. Hawaii county is unique and progressive in wanting to live sustainably and with minimal waste. Resolution 167 -11 as proposed by Angel Pilago and the Hawaii Sustainable Community Alliance / Graham Ellis is a big move forward into a more sustainable and more humane government.
