It would be a third world, thug type regime act to criminalize property owners who have failed to comply with the
County building codes when the County is complicit in the process. I view the County as not doing it's due
diligence during much of the building process. There are remedies available to cause owners to comply including
financial penalties to those in non - compliance that will improve county revenues and cause future compliance if
only enforced.
