Please Pass the Ban on the destructive Aquarium trade. I stand in full support of this Ban
and so do many families in Kona. This awful industry has wreaked havoc on the native reef
fish populations. These disconnected people have zero respect for our coastlines and are
only acting in self interest. The situation is past the point of urgency. Hawaiian reefs
cannot sustain this vile practice and are at the brink of collapse. Do not be swayed by
sob stories, there are many honorable ways to sustain oneself. The Aquarium Trade is a
deplorable way to make a living.
