Dear Committee Chair Pilago : I urge you to do what we at a distance cannot: Protect the
fragile, precious resource of reefs and reef fish from destruction. Removing breeding
populations from natural habitat is a recipe for disaster. Far more is to be gained from
visitors - a truly renewable resource - than the enrichment of the few who plunder your
reefs. Thank you for your consideration. Please ban the aquarium trade from plundering
the reefs of Hawaii.
