Dear Committee Chair Pilago : My last post got cut off so you can add it to this one. The
reef fish trade and selling should be /needs to be STOPPED! For the environment, for the
fish, for the future of our children, for HAWAII! DLNR considers reef fish after they are
captured to be "pets" then the Hawaii Island Humane Society needs to charge
collectors /sellers with cruelty for starving/ mutilateing/ killing HAWAII's Pets! I am
horrified that this has been allowed to go on for so long! DLNR and or contracted persons
should have to process documentation on collection of our fish and prosecute collectors
who lie, and kill our fish/ pets/ wildlife/ resourse- what ever you would like to call
