The improvements have been inspected and approved by the Public Works Department, and received dedication approval from the Departments of Water Supply, Planning, and Environmental Management. RECOMMENDS ADOPTION OF RES. 221-12: Ayes: Committee Members Ford, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Onishi, Pilago, Smart, Yagong, Yoshimoto, and Chair Blas – 9. Noes: None. Absent: None. Excused: None. Comm. 565: AMENDS CHAPTER 24, HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS (Bill 181) AMENDED), RELATING TO SCHOOL ZONES Amends Chapter 24, Article 7, Division 2, Section 24-149 by adding: “(b) Any person who violates any provision of section 24-149(a)(3)(A) or section 24-149 (a)(3)(B) shall upon conviction be subject to fines equal to two times the fines as provided for in section 24-16.” Serving the Interests of the People of our Island Hawai‘i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer PWPRC-24 Page 2 February 14, 2012 RECOMMENDS PASSAGE OF BILL 181 ON FIRST READING: Ayes: Committee Members Ford, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Onishi, Pilago, Smart, Yagong, Yoshimoto and Chair Blas - 9.
