Kubojiri stating that their Department will provide an overview of the Department’s marked vehicle program. Angel Pilago, dated January 24, 2012, apprising Council Members, nonprofit agencies who have submitted applications, and the public of the upcoming grant review process and the assignment of an ad hoc committee created by the HSSPSC. POSTPONED TO THE CALL OF THE CHAIR: Ayes: Committee Members Blas, Ford, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Onishi, Pilago, Smart, and Acting Chair Yoshimoto – 8. Noes: None. Absent: Committee Member Yagong - 1. Excused: None. Note: An ad-hoc committee was created consisting of Council Members Angel Pilago, Chair; Fred Blas, Vice Chair; Brittany Smart, member; and J Yoshimoto, member. Comm. 563: PRESENTATION BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT REGARDING THE TAKE-HOME POLICE RADIO POLICY From Council Member Brenda J. Ford, dated January 24, 2012, requesting the Police Department to provide an update on the “Take-Home Police Radio” policy. On June 15, 2011, the Council passed Resolution 78-11, which established this policy.
