ORDINANCE NO. 12 22
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5 OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to update the Hawai`i County Code to
match existing conditions.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24 -280, Schedule 28. No parking at
anytime, subsection (c), South Hilo, Hawai'i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is amended to
read as follows:
(c) South Hilo
(1) Ainako Avenue, Hamakua side, between Kaumana Drive and the Ernest B. de
Silva School entrance.
(2) Alenaio Drive, makai side.
(3) Anderton Camp Roadway, Hilo side, for its entire length.
(4) `Anela Street, mauka side, between Kawailani Street and Puainako Street.
[(5) Aupuni Street, both sides, for a distance of two hundred feet from its intersection
with Kilauea Avenue.]

SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application,
and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
