Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution No. 124-99, transmitted by
Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro per Communication No. 394, dated July 15, 1999, regarding the
naming of streets in the County of Hawaii, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 124-99 authorizes the adoption of a street name for the roadway within Waimea
Village, Waimea, South Kohala, Hawaii. Pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22,
Hawaii County Code, the Council is authorized to adopt street names for Hawaii County's
unnamed roadways. The Planning Commission at its July 2, 1999, meeting voted to recommend
the adoption of the following street name:
"Pukalani Road" name of an `ili `aina
Your Committee on Planning concurs with the intent and purpose of Resolution No. 124-99, and
recommends its adoption.
